General Character Rules:
1. You may have up to 3 characters before we'll ask you to prove you will remain active by posting as each of them at least once a week. Neglect of one character for another is frowned upon.
2. Your character must have some flaws to be considered for the rp- they can't be the best, prettiest, smartest and strongest. Please be realistic.
3. We have a minimum word count of 100 words. If you have writer's block or don't have much to write in the current situation, it's understandable, just come back to it later and try again!
4. We operate based on liquid time, which means that you can be in multiple threads at the same time as long as you have a timeline in mind as you create them.
5. Try to keep your grammar and spelling as good as possible. We're not super strict on this, but it's important for posts to at least be legible! If you're unsure about this, use a spellchecker!
6. For personalities, you should define terms in a way that reflects how it will work in roleplay. For example, a quiet character may be "quiet" in that they are soft spoken. Or, it could mean "quiet" as in stealthy! Remember, their biography is a way for others to understand your character and anticipate what stories you can write together.
7. For Histories, we require at least 200 words in their histories. Please touch on at least these three things: their schooling up until now, if they're not from Aramis, why they came here/are here now, and any significant connections (friends/family/enemies).
8. We allow you to have up to two (2) pokemon to start with, up to level 10, or one (1) pokemon up to level 15.
Gijinka Rules:
1. You may create half-human, half pokemon characters commonly referred to as gijinka, but these characters are HEAVILY examined, more than normal humans. I have made a pinned post in lore about Gijinka and their role in Aramis.
2. Continuing from last rule, if you want to create a gijinka character, you must specify if they are a lab-created gijinka (must be tied to the Zync Syndicate) or a natural born gjinka (list the Legendary who blessed their parents.)
3. Gijinka have SOME powers related to their pokemon parent, but cannot manifest moves like a pokemon can. Acceptable powers can include: telepathy/telekinesis (for psychic types), emotion reading/manipulation (for ghost or fairy types), or some control over elements (electric, fire, water, grass, etc. types)
4. Gijinka appearances MUST be either half or more human than pokemon. cannot be more pokemon than human.
Gym Leader/Elite Four/Contest Judge Rules:
1. In order to apply for one of these roles, you must have an extra 100 words in your history, (on top of the 200 words already required) explaining where/how they received this honor, whether that be through rigorous training, someone taking your character under their wing, or other fitting explanation.
2. Your character MUST be at LEAST 20 years old to apply for one of these positions.
3. In order to apply for one of these roles, you must include a section in your submission explaining why you think you are a good fit for this role! Nothing too extreme or serious, but try to keep things realistic (to a degree).
